Behind the Curtain with Angela

This past year I was inspired to create 2 plush penguins from socks with emperor penguins printed on them. The idea amused me and I had penguin socks on hand. And to give you an idea of why I had penguin socks on hand for

this project I will describe my office, which is also my craft room. Inside I have an ‘L’ shaped desk, on one side are my dual monitors set up for work and on the other is my sewing machine. I have a wall of shelves filled with fabric and, yes, socks. So, when December rolled around, I dove into my bins of fabric and found a tutorial on Pinterest. Voila! Penguin sock penguins were born.
